We’re looking for 12 great Commuters! And you can earn a $25 reward for helping us find them!
We’re looking for 12 true “Commute Champions.” These are the people who take the bus, ride their bikes, vanpool, carpool, or walk to work and set examples that inspire the rest of us. We like to hear their stories and feature their pictures in our newsletters and in articles with other publications.
If you know someone who would make a good “Commute Champion” for 2011, please nominate them. If your nominated champion is picked as a winner by our selection panel, you will receive a $25 gift card for nominating him or her.
Nominations are open beginning December 1, 2010, and the first winners will be picked in January, 2011. You may nominate as many people as you wish, but you will only be eligible for one award a year. Self-nomination is not permitted.
If your nominee wins and is featured as the month’s winner, they will receive a $50 gift card. So look around and ask your coworkers how they get to work. You may find a winner and be a winner.

Nomination Instructions
- Submit your nomination for a Commute Champion in your company to your Employee Transportation Coordinator (ETC) beginning December 1, 2010.
- Companies determine the criteria* for who will be selected as Commute Champions from the nominations at their company.

Winning
- Commute Champions 2011 will be recognized monthly on the GRTMA website and in other publications.
- Each winner will receive a cash-value gift card and a Certificate of Recognition.
- Winners will be announced and featured in each company/organization, in GRTMA newsletters, on GRTMA.org, and on Commute Champions posters.
- Winners are scheduled for photo shoots that are mutually convenient for the winners and GRTMA.
